Let me introduce myself!
First I should introduce myself. My Name is Samuel.
I am 39 years old. An unemployed freelance writer, Persian Gulf War
Veteran, and VERY in debt.
I have been put in a very tough spot, and I can only hope that someone
out there will read this, and help me to help my family!

Please Help Me To Help My Family
A litle bit about my problem.
I am far from being a bum! We just need help! I am using a PayPal account hoping you will dig deep in your heart to help us...We will be forever in your debt. This is not a scam. We are currently living out of a shelter and our mail address is a Post Office box that I will only have until February of 2004 unless I can turn things around. The daily labor is not helping me anymore. I am lucky to get out once a week and make 20 dollars. I've talked to all the agencies, and no one has any help for us. I had my own business of selling clothes, I worked as a freelance writer for our local newspaper and I worked as a Manager of a Deli before it closed. I have sold everything the family owns that is of value just to support us...we have nothing left. If you can find it in your heart to help us please do...any amount is accepted and appreciated. I had to use this free web page stuff to place this...so please understand I am not a fake.

Like I said, you think donations to agencies go to all the right places, but I have not seen a single penny unless it comes straight to me. I've asked, and asked. There is nothing more I can do but watch my family go to bed crying every night. Those agencies offering me a toy to calm a child or food aren’t addressing my real issues. Illinois has the worst assistance program I could ever imagine. I now see that all the money I donated in the past goes somewhere, but not where it should. Last Christmas Day we ate at a Salvation Army and got sour turkey legs, rice and black-eyed peas...Really great to know all the money they got after Sept 11th went on SOUR TURKEY LEGS...well I guess I need to stop here, but please understand we don't need presents or gifts we just need some money to give us a chance to get back on our feet. By the time people start seeing this page we will be living on the street I hope you will help us to help ourselves.

We are going to the Community College!
We have enrolled at the local community college
to get our two year nursing degree. The kids get to use the nursery,
I go at night and Kelly goes during the day. With all the grants and loans
we are only paying a little, but at this time a little is to much! And then
there is going to be the loans to pay off starting in June. We want to get
out of the shelter and get an apartment, but that and the college will
never happen without a little cash flow.
This is why Kelly and I need your help.

Please help us to help our children!
My daughter Kim 5, and my son Wayne 3 are very healthy and happy. We do everything we can to make sure that none of this affects them. Kim will be in Kindergarten next year and it would be real nice if she could have her own room and home to come to after school. To bring her friends home to play. Please, please help Kelly and I to help our kids have a real home!
